Package overview

One day that works for a four-year-old, a teenager and a grandmother at the same time. Built around real attention spans, not an itinerary on paper.

Family days fail for predictable reasons. The drive is too long, the toddler melts down at eleven, the teenager has nothing to do, the grandmother cannot manage the walking, and lunch happens two hours late. This day is designed around those failure points rather than around a list of sights. We plan it with you first: ages, mobility, what everyone actually enjoys, nap times, and any conditions we should know about. Then we build a route with short drives between stops, a proper lunch at a sensible hour rather than a snatched sandwich, and enough slack that nothing collapses if one part runs long. The stops themselves come from what suits your group. Nairobi National Park for a game drive without a five-hour transfer. The Giraffe Centre, which works for almost every age at once. The Sheldrick nursery. Bomas of Kenya for dancing that holds children's attention. Parks and open green space where small children can simply run. Karura Forest for a walk that grandparents can manage on flat paths. The vehicle is large enough that nobody is squashed, and it stays with you all day, so a bag left behind is not a crisis and a child who needs twenty minutes out of the sun has somewhere to go. On price, the figure covers the vehicle, driver-guide, fuel, all entry fees at whatever we visit, and lunch. At two adults sharing this is USD 315 to USD 340 per person, falling to around USD 210 per person at six. Children aged three to twelve are charged at seventy-five per cent and under-threes are free. Kenya Wildlife Service park entry for children is USD 40 against USD 80 for adults, and it is included where the day involves a park.
