We book the table, arrange whatever is waiting on it when you sit down, and put a private car and driver at your disposal from the moment you leave your hotel until you are back at the door. The restaurant is chosen around you rather than from a list: rooftop with the skyline if you want the view, a garden courtyard in Karen if you want quiet, coastal Swahili, Ethiopian, Japanese, or a chef's counter. Nairobi does all of them well and we will tell you which are genuinely good rather than which are simply expensive. Before or after dinner we can add a sundowner somewhere with a view, live jazz, or a slow drive through the city with the lights on. Flowers, a cake, a bottle waiting on ice, or a note delivered to the table are all handled without you having to explain yourself twice. On price, the figure covers the private vehicle and driver for the full evening, fuel, the reservation, and the table setup with flowers. Dinner itself is a set menu at the restaurant we book, and it is included. Drinks are not, and you settle those directly. At two sharing this is USD 235 to USD 250 per person. This is a hosted evening rather than a tour, and the value sits in the things you will not notice: the reservation held when you are running late, the driver who is already outside when you stand up, and nobody at the table having to think about the drive home.
